About us - January 2010 Bakfar Country Lodging is located on Kibbutz Kfar Szold in the Upper Galilee. Nestled on the slopes of the Golan Heights, overlooking mountains and valleys and surrounded by streams and brooks, Bakfar Country lodging is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation in nature.
	Our facilities We offer 24 studio apartments sleeping four people and 7 two-room apartments sleeping six, for a larger group of guests. All together, 31 apartments. Two of our apartments are wheelchair accessible. All apartments include an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, TV, and a fully-equipped kitchenette with a microwave oven, electric kettle, refrigerator, and complimentary coffee and tea. All apartments are on the ground-floor, surrounded by luscious vegetation and lawns, BBQ facilities, comfortable seating areas overlooking the lake and a children's playground. The price includes a delicious, Kosher breakfast served in our restaurant. Additional lunch and dinner may be ordered separately by groups of 20 guests or more.
Additional Attractions The kibbutz swimming pool is open all summer and offers activities for adults and children alike. Sports courts (please book in advance). Grocery store, open everyday except Sabbaths and holidays Zvika's sculpture garden - Kfar Szold's unique  site. A variety of easily-accessible sites, including Mount Hermon, Hula Valley Nature Reserve, Tel Dan national park, theBanias river, the Ayun river and Manara cable car. Kayaking, jeep trips, dune-buggy rides, Canada Centre and more. Many restaurants and cafes in the area.

Getting here Take Route 99 going north from Kiryat Shmona to the Golan Heights, or Route 9779 from Kirayt Shmona to Kibbutz Shamir, and then take Route 918. A good roadmap is advised.  At the entrance to our kibbutz, signs will direct you to Bakfar - country lodging.
