Bakfar is a unique vacation resort located in Kibbutz Kfar-Szold in northern israel. Located in a beautiful, pastoral site in the Galilee Panhandle near route 918, north-east of Kiryat Shmona, within great proximity to Galilee’s springs and streams, across from Naftali Mountains and en route to the Golan heights and Hermon mountain. Established in 1994, Bakfar attracts families, couples and other groups from Israel and abroad. Bakfar is made of 31 accessorised and air-conditioned guest units (standard rooms and family apartments) surrounded by spacious lawns, trees and gardens, equipped with BBQ stations and offers everything necessary for a pleasant and comfortable vacation for couples or families alike.
Bakfar’s excellent location allows easy access to every hike and attraction in the area: the Hermon site, Hula nature reserve, Agamon HaHula, Tel Dan nature reserve, Hermon Stream (Banias) nature reserve, Ayun Stream Nature Reserve, river kayaking, Canada Centre in Metula, Horseback riding, 4WD and ATV tours and more.
